MVA alliance in upcoming Lok Sabha elections
Announcing the names of seven VBA candidates for the Lok Sabha seats of Vidarbha division in the first phase of general elections, Prakash Ambedkar, however, said that his party will support the Congress candidate for the Nagpur Lok Sabha seat.
Last week, Ambedkar had expressed his displeasure with Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (SP) for his party not having the right attitude and offered to support Congress on seven Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in the elections to be held on 48 Lok Sabha seats. However, with today's announcement, Prakash Ambedkar has now put an end to the news of this alliance.
