Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Narayan Rane attacked Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut for allegedly creating hindrance in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. He also said that the case should be investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) while alleging that Mumbai Police was acting under pressure.

Rane picked up the issue of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) putting Patna SP Vinay Tiwari under quarantine. He said that there was no need to quarantine Tiwari as he had come for investigation.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut is creating hindrance. It makes me doubt whether they have any connection with the case or not. There was no need to quarantine SP Vinay Tiwari. This tells us that Mumbai Police is trying to cover the facts,” the former Chief Minister said while talking to a news channel.

Rane also claimed that the suicide case of Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian are linked. Recently, he asserted that Salian was raped and murdered by Sooraj Pancholi. However, Pancholi has filed a case against him over these allegations.

The BJP MP went on to attack Raut for continuously defending Maharashtra Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray. “I have never mentioned the name of Aaditya Thackeray in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. His name is being mentioned in the media. Sanjay Raut says that Aaditya has nothing to do with the case. So, why talk and repeatedly react to the issue? Rane questioned.

Meanwhile, Raut has ruled out any political interference in the Mumbai Police’s investigation and said that Sushant Singh Rajput was like their son. Shiv Sena also wants to know the reason behind his suicide, he added.
