The political equations in the state have changed to a great extent. After the split between Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), BJP-Nationalists (Ajit Pawar faction) and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), who were once opponents, have come together to come to power.

In this background, arguments have been made for the past several days whether MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena (Thackeray group) party chief Uddhav Thackeray will come together. Now Uddhav Thackeray himself clarified his position on this. He was speaking on Thursday (July 27) in the podcast 'Aawaaz Kunacha' hosted by Sanjay Raut, MP and executive editor of Shiv Sena's mouthpiece Saamana.

Uddhav Thackeray said, "If there was a basis for the discussion that I and Raj Thackeray would come together, the discussion in the media would not have stopped. Discussions were held and discussions stopped. Whoever tried to discuss it did not get support, so that discussion would have stopped.”

“I don't think about what if the proposal comes or goes”

What if there is such a proposal? When Sanjay Raut asked this question, Uddhav Thackeray also took a clear stand on it. “I don't think about if the offer comes or goes. Even if it goes, I do not think about it, and even if it comes, I do not think about it. I think about what happens at that moment. So there is no such discussion now. So there is no need to talk about it," said Uddhav Thackeray.

Sharad Pawar is not fighting a legal battle like Uddhav Thackeray?

After Shiv Sena split, Uddhav Thackeray fought a legal battle. However, when asked about Sharad Pawar choosing a different path, Uddhav Thackeray reacted to it. “Whoever has his way. I follow the path of Shiv Sena chief. Therefore, I will ask questions for wrongdoings. So I am fighting. Sharad Pawar's ideology is different. If he wants to go his own way, that is his choice", he said.
