Mumbai- Shivshahi Punarvasan Prakalp Ltd. (SPPL), in partnership with private builders, will make affordable homes available in Mumbai. In the first phase, total 106 flats will be made available with an area of 300 sqft in Oshiwara and Vakola. The cost of the flat in Oshiwara project will be Rs 58 lakh while a home at Vakola will cost Rs 50 lakh. The SPPL will invest Rs 58 crore for these two projects. However, Mumbaikars will have to wait for 12 years before owning the dream home. It is being said that Mumbaikars will not be able to buy these homes, as they will be available in the bracket of Rs 50-60 lakh. However, the SPPL thinks otherwise.
