Aapla Vada Pav to donate ₹70,000 to soldiers

In order to pay tribute to the soldiers, Mumbai’s Aapla Vada Pav initiated an activity wherein on January 30, 2018, they sold 14,000 vada pav and earned rs 70,000 in a single day. 

They sold vada pav from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm and the collected money will be given to soldiers.

Sold Vada Pav for ₹5

Generally, a vada pav which is sold at ₹10-₹15, Aapla Vada Pav did something unique by selling it for only ₹5 to do their bit for our Indian soldiers. The amount which was collected will be handed over to defence minister Nirmala Sitaraman.

We will hand over the cheque to the defence minister Nirmala Sitaraman,” Mangesh Ahivale, Owner, Aapla Vada Pav.


Vada Pav was sold for Elphinstone stampede victim

Prior to this kind act, Aapla Vada Pav had sold vada pav only for ₹5 to help the family of Mayuresh Haldankar who died in the Elphinstone stampede.
