Like every year, this year too huge offerings have been made to the king of Lalbaug, who is called the god of prayers. Lakhs of devotees visited Lalbaug in ten days. About seven lakh devotees reached Lalbaug to have darshan of the king. At this time many devotees made their wishes to Bappa. Some offered gifts to Bappa, some donated cash. All these precious gifts have been auctioned. The auction lasted for five hours.
Gold and silver jewellery or valuables offered by devotees during Ganeshotsav at the feet of Lalbaug Raja were auctioned on Sunday. A large number of devotees participated in this auction organised by Raja Ganeshotsav Mandal of Lalbaug. Many people bought gold, silver or other items in the auction as per their interest and capacity.

People bought goods worth more than Rs 35 lakh in the auction. The auction was held from 5 pm to 10 pm on Sunday. The gifts offered by the devotees at the feet of Bappa were auctioned. This auction got a good response.
Necklace worth INR 55 lakhs
Meanwhile, although Raja Mandal of Lalbaug earned more than INR 35 lakh from this auction, not a single necklace was sold in the auction. No one bought the necklace worth INR 55 lakh, hence, we have decided to auction this necklace next year, this information was given by Sudhir Salvi, Honorary Secretary of Raja Mandal of Lalbaug.
