Dadar - Mayor Snehal Ambekar has stepped forward to bat for differently abled persons in the city. On Thursday at 11am, the mayor distributed identification cards to differently abled persons with over 40 per cent disability. The cards, which can be availed at for Rs 40, can be used for using BEST bus services. Present at the event along with mayor Snehal Ambekar were BEST general manager Ravikant Deshpande, BEST committee member Shrikant Kavathankar and MNS leader Sandeep Deshpande. The identity card will come into force from Monday.
