Devotees can now take garlands, flowers and prasad at Shirdi's Sai Temple, which is famous across Maharashtra and across the country.

Now through Sai Sansthan, flowers are going to be sold to the devotees at a moderate price. These flowers will be purchased from the farmers and made available to the devotees in the temple premises. With this arrangement, farmers will be able to earn.

Sai Sansthan is now going to lift the ban imposed during Corona. During Corona, the organisation had banned flowers, garlands and offerings to Sai Baba. However, now it has been decided to lift this ban. An application has also been filed for court approval.

During the time of COVID-19, there was a lot of resentment among the devotees and shopkeepers due to the ban on taking flowers and prasad to the Sai temple of Shirdi. Devotees and shopkeepers are continuously demanding to lift this ban to the Shirdi Sansthan.

Vendors along with some villagers from Shirdi tried to forcefully take garlands and flowers to the Saibaba temple. At this time, there was an altercation between the security guards of the institute and the protestors.

During the COVID-19 period, garlands, flowers and offerings were banned in the Sai temple. Flowers were rotting in the fields and the burden of debt was increasing. Around 500 farmers cultivate flowers in Shirdi area. Shirdi has a daily turnover of flowers worth lakhs of rupees.
