According to the latest reports, Mumbai Police will soon have their own merchandise for the public by the end of April in stores. The products will include the likes of clothing, perfume, caps, water bottles, amongst others provided by the Mumbai Police's won brand. 

An announcement in this regard was made by the Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey. He took to Facebook to share the photographs of the various merchandise. 


Citizens can get their hands on these products in the showrooms and the money earned through the same will be utilized in the public welfare fund. The clothing and other products will have the name and the logo of the Mumbai Police. 

Pandey was quoted in accounts elaborating on how the initiative is in the pipeline and the commodities will be accessible in the market by the end of April. These, apart from looking different from the police uniform, will be sold through a third party in a showroom.

Based on narratives, the contracts will be accorded in accordance with the government regulations and the procedure of distributing caps has already begun. Through the Sunday Street initiative, caps are being distributed for free. This is claimed to continue till April 3. It has been reported that the police will soon decide the price for the products.
