A Homeless Shelter Center has been started at Plot No. 240, Sector 4, Ghansoli from 15 March, 2024 through Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation to provide shelter to the homeless and destitute citizens of the city.
The building of this homeless shelter center is three storied and has the capacity to accommodate 103 people. Among the three floors, the first floor is for men, the second floor is for women and the third floor is for families.

This shelter center provides facilities for the homeless persons and they are counseled as well from time to time. In this, they are brought to the homeless shelter center according to their choice. Beneficiaries who are homeless are provided free of charge medical care, tea, breakfast and lunch, hot water for bathing, clean drinking water.
The homeless shelter center is being run by Astha Social Development Service Organisation on behalf of Navi Mumbai City Municipal Corporation.
