Mumbai- Mumbai marathon witnessed many participants. Some ran to win, while some ran to promote cause. This year, farmers also participated in marathon to promote their plight. These farmers, who are suffering losses due to poor cotton production, came on streets to divert the attention of the state government. “Everyone takes farmers for granted. We participated to support our institution who works for farmers,” said Chandra Patil.
