Another day at GC 2018, and another gold for India! Heena Sidhu picked up India's third gold medal in shooting at the ongoing Commonwealth Games, finishing on top in the women's 25m pistol event, and also breaking the CWG record in Australia’s Gold Coast on Tuesday.

This was the 28-year-old's second medal at GC 2018 as she finished second to Manu Bhaker in the 10m pistol event a few days ago.

Sidhu's final score was 38 out which two of them were perfect fives. Elena Galiabovitch of Australia scored 35 to take silver while Malaysia's Alia Sazana Azahari got bronze with 26.



India now has 11 gold medals, 4 silver and 5 bronze taking the total tally to 20.
