Mumbai - Gujarat won Ranji Trophy for the first time in their history, beating Mumbai by five wickets on the last day of the final at Indore's Holkar Stadium. This happened when Gujarat captain Parthiv Patel scored an excellent 143. Parthiv has become the first Gujarat captain to bag the coveted trophy, and an astonishing hundred to complete the win.
