The IPL 2017 trophy will be unveiled today at Hyderabad today and that will mark the beginning of a 2-month extravaganza. With Pune Supergiants and Gujrat Lions filling in for CSK and Rajasthan Royals, this season of the IPL has had its share of ups and downs, especially injuries.
But aloof from all this, preparations are on for the opening ceremonies. It has been confirmed that the opening ceremonies will continue from Hyderabad to Pune(6th April), Rajkot(7th April), Indore and Bangalore(8th April), Kolkata (13th April), New Delhi(15th April).
The event in Mumbai on the 9th April is not yet confirmed. Hordes of Bollywood celebrities will perform at these ceremonies. Amy Jackson, Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and other regional stars will extend the official openings at all theses venues.
The opening ceremony tomorrow at Hyderabad will be marked by the digital signing by all the captains.
Looks like the IPL committee has decided to deceive viewers and spectators with these extended opening ceremonies, probably to take away the attention from the growing list of injuries marring IPL 2017.
