SportsJig recently announced the launch of the second season of the SportsJig Mumbai Open Pro-Am Tennis Championships. With an aim to encourage amateur Tennis in Mumbai, Sportsjig allows amateur tennis players to show and test their skills with the best in the tournament. The tournament will be held under the aegis of Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA).
The initiative provides a platform with a competitive & professional playing experience to professionals as well as amateurs. This Open Professional-Amateur Tennis Championship will be held across 4 days over two weekends from 2nd November 2019 to 10th November 2019 in Mumbai at the iconic venue, MSLTA Cooperage.
This championship also aims to attract kids along with adults. Season 2 has multiple categories to participate in, trophies and prize money to win, live broadcast of matches.
This season will see participation in 7 categories:
While there are prize money and trophies for Winner and Runner-up in each category, the participants of the Juniors category will only receive trophies and certificates. Alongside, there are rewards for each round winnings.
Participants will also be able to access match videos, highlights and photos.
