Sulochanadevi Singhania School beat Billabong International high school by 117 runs to win the 2nd Sri Ma boys U 13 cricket trophy at Thane.
Batting first after winning the toss, Singhania school rode on a good opening partnership between Jay Dhatrak and Shivam as they scored 176/8 in 30 overs. They set a target of 177 for Billabong and it proved too big for them.
Billabong lost early wickets and folded in just 59 runs. Aryan took 4 wickets and Ritwik picked up 3 wickets for Singhania. The winners were presented the trophy by former Mumbai Ranji player and now U16 MCA selector Rajesh Sutar.
16 teams participated in this competition played at the Sri Ma school stadium at Patlipada at Ghodbunder road.
