Some of the top national and state swimmers like National Gold medalists Neel Roy, Ishaan Jaffer, Palak Dhami, Sanjiit Saha, Evanka Shah, Kenisha Gupta, Aeka Chatra, Vedika Amin, Armaan Sikka, Siddharth Sankhe and Pushya Sahajwan ( both in men and women), will be seen in action along with 300 odd swimmers from various city and suburban clubs and gymkhanas in the two-day 32nd Otters Open Swimming and Diving Championships, to be held at their swimming pool at Bandra (West) on Saturday (April 15) and Sunday (April 16).
This prestigious Gala, which is open to men, women and various age groups boys and girls, holds the special place in city/suburbs sports calendar as it has produced a number of top-class swimmers, who have brought laurels to the state at the national level over the years. However, age group competitors can take part only in their own age groups.
