The attack caused loss of innumerous files and abrupt shutting down of systems for a number of people. As a matter of fact, it was said that the virus attacked more than two lakh systems in 150 countries. Various multinational companies, banks, and hospitals are using high-end antivirus softwares so as to secure their data.
