Mumbai - Transit camps of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) have encroachers in huge attendance, troubling the tenants. The state government has taken a decision in regard to this, the encroachers will be penalised and will be limited in attendance. If the officials are to be believed, in the 56 transit camps of the Mhada, there are more than 8,000 encroachers. Cause' of which there is the huge misunderstanding in connection with a number of tenants and encroachers. Abhijeet Pethe, President Transit Camp Association has requested the digital survey of all the encroachers who are dwelling in the transit camps. Association will write the letter to the state government on the immediate basis in regard to this crisis.
