Mi Notebook 14 (IC) Launched in India With Intel Comet Lake Processor, Stereo Speakers, and More

After dominating the Indian tech sector with a budget and high-end electronics, Mi India is now launching a new upgrade to the existing Mi Notebook 14 series. 

Known as the Mi Notebook 14 (IC), this laptop has a 35.56cm (14”) Full HD (1920 x 1080) anti-glare display with an 81.2% screen-to-body ratio. It’s worth mentioning that this laptop is also pretty lightweight (1.5 Kg) and sleek thanks to the unibody chassis built from aluminium and magnesium alloy using a process of anodized sandblasting. It also comes with a built-in HD webcam for Zoom meetings or online learning.

In terms of power, the Mi Notebook 14 (IC) comes with the 10th Gen Intel Core i5 Comet Lake processor under the hood carrying a clock speed of 4.2 GHz for high-speed performance. This variant will also offer 8GB Of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SATA SSD storage. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU will handle the graphics side of things along with 2GB video RAM. 

The company is using a 46Wh battery underneath the laptop which can offer a backup of up to 10 hours on a single charge. This is complemented by a 65W fast charger that can recharge the laptop from 0 to 50% in a little over 35 minutes.   

The Mi Notebook 14 (IC) will run on Windows 10 Home Edition bundled with a 1-month trial subscription to Microsoft Office 365. One glaring omission here is the USB C port as Mi has chosen to go for one USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. There’s also an HDMI port for external monitors and displays. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack is a welcome addition to this notebook. 

Mi is offering including stereo speakers with the Notebook 14 (IC) coupled by DTS audio processing. The notebook will retail on, Mi Homes,, and other retail partners for ₹43,999.
