Usually, the government and private company employees are not provided a holiday for days other than Ganesh Chaturthi and Visarjan. Therefore, on working days, they have to visit mandals with their families late at night. While they can opt to go to the mandals on a Saturday or Sunday, the Ganpati mandals are usually crowded on these days.

Accordingly, keeping in mind the crowd, Railways will run 20 special trains in order to assist the devotees venturing late at night.

Meanwhile, Railways stated that the trains will run between CSMT-Thane, CSMT-Kalyan, and CSMT-Panvel.
