Railways to change its schedule for Express trains from Dec 1

Western Railway zone has announced to change the timings of many trains including Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express from next 1 December. The timings of many special Express trains running from Mumbai have been revised due to operational reasons.

The Mumbai-Kolhapur special train is scheduled to leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) at 8.40 am daily, while the Mumbai-Solapur special train will depart from CSMT daily at 22.45 hrs, whereas the Mumbai-Latur special train will leave CSMT at 21.00 hrs.

However, there are 2 Mumbai-Pune special trains daily. One will leave CSMT at 05.40 am daily. However, the other Mumbai-Pune special will start from CSMT daily at 17.10 hrs.

According to a statement released by Railways, Train No.02951/02952 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Rajdhani Special Express (daily) will depart from Mumbai Central at 5 pm instead of 5.30 pm. Additional halt has been provided at Borivali station in both directions.

Similarly, Train No.02953/02954 Mumbai Central – H. Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Special Express (daily) will start from Mumbai Central at 5.10 pm instead of 5.40 pm. The halt at Andheri station of this train has been withdrawn. However, it will have a stop at Borivali.

Train No.02009/02010 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Shatabdi Special Express will run six days a week. The train will leave from Mumbai Central at 6.40 am, instead of 6.30 am.

Moreover, Train number 02244/02243 Bandra Terminus – Kanpur Central Superfast Special will run daily. The train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 05:10 am.

Also, Bandra Terminus – Jhansi Superfast Special – Train Number 01104/01103 will run two days a week. The train is scheduled to depart from Bandra Terminus to Jhansi at 05:10 am.

Apart from these, a total of other 12 special trains have been rescheduled with these trains. The Pune-Ajni special train will leave Pune every Saturday at 22.00 hrs, while the Pune-Amravati special train will leave Pune every Wednesday at 15.15 hrs. The special train will leave Amravati every Thursday at 18.50 hrs, while the train will leave Ajni ever Sunday at 19.50 hrs.

Another Pune-Ajni special train will leave Pune every Tuesday at 15.15 hrs, whereas the special train will leave Ajni every Friday at 19.50 hrs and reach Pune at 11.35 hrs the next day. The Mumbai-Adilabad train will leave CSMT daily at 16.35 hrs.
