CSMT Mumbai-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Special restored to run daily from July

Passengers having confirmed tickets will only be permitted to board this special train adhering all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and at destination.

The Central Railways have decided to restore the frequency of train no. 01221 / 01222 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus- Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Special from four times a week to daily from July 1, 2021.

It has come to light that many long-distance inter-state trains have resumed as the states have witnessed a decline in coronavirus cases.

01221 CSMT-Hazrat Nizamuddin special will now run daily from July 1, 2021 till further advice.

01222 Hazrat Nizamuddin-CSMT special will now run daily from July 2,2021 till further advice.

Reservation: Bookings for extended frequency of Rajdhani Special Train no.01221 are already open at all PRS centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.

Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board this special train adhering to all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.

Almost after a month, Deccan Queen and Deccan Express trains, connecting two important cities Pune and Mumbai, resumed their services from June 26. Moreover, passengers on the rail route between Pune and Mumbai can now avail of seats in a special “Vistadome” coach, on the Deccan Express Special. 

Besides, Konkan Railway is set to resume its operations of Mumbai-Karmali (Goa) Tejas Express from July 10, an official reported. The train no 02119 Mumbai CSMT-Karmali will leave from CSMT at 5.50 am every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from July 10 and reach Karmali at 4 pm.
