In one-of-its kind initiative to provide last mile connectivity, Mumbaikars can hire bicycles at Mumbai Metro Line 2A and 7, which commenced its services between Dahisar-Kandivali-Goregaon. This cycle facility has been launched through My Bike (MYBYK) app at the metro station.

Commuters travelling in metro often have difficulty in going to their home or office by bus or auto rickshaw. Keeping this in mind, cycle facility has been started at the metro station.

On the occasion of Gudi Padwa, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday, April 2, flagged off two new metro routes in Mumbai.

In order to avail this cycle facility, you have to download an app named MYBYK in your mobile. You can then unlock this cycle through the app and your fare will start as soon as the lock is opened. You can rent a cycle for INR 2 per hour.

After that you can park your cycle under the metro station. This cycle facility under the metro station will be very beneficial for the Mumbaikars. This will not only save the other public transportation charges, it will also be beneficial to their health.

On the other hand, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has collaborated with the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) in order to provide last-mile connectivity choices to its travellers on the upcoming Metro Line 2A and Metro Line 7.
