Veteran passengers will get a 25% discount on Mumbai Metro Line 3 from November 23, 2025. The 25% discount announced for differently-abled passengers is currently in the final testing phase, informed an official.
“Once the trial is complete, this discount will be implemented across the entire system from Sunday, November 23. The aim of this initiative is to provide a more inclusive travel experience for all passengers, including those with disabilities,” he added.
Metro Line 3, also known as Aqua Line, is Mumbai's first completely underground metro and runs from Aarey to Cuffe Parade. All stations on this route are air-conditioned and the entire system is equipped with technology that makes it disabled-friendly and ready for driverless trains.
This concession is part of Mumbai Metro's inclusive mobility strategy to make public transport more affordable and convenient for disabled passengers.
