FOBs at Grant Road and Andheri to be closed for repair work

Keeping pedestrian safety in mind, Western Railway officials have decided to repair the FOBs at Mumbai's Grant Road and Andheri railway stations between April 20 and 24, 2019, due to which the bridges will be closed

After the CSMT pedestrian bridge collapse, the railway administration and the municipal corporation have taken the task of repairing the old FOBs in Mumbai.

A few days ago, the bridge between Kurla and Ghatkopar railway station on Central Railway (CR), along with the CSMT station, was closed for repair work. Now, it is being reported that the Western Railway (WR) Administration has decided to close the pedestrian bridge at the Grant Road station.

As per reports, the pedestrian bridge on the north side of the Grand Road station will be closed on April 20 and 21, 2019, due to the repair. During these days WR has made an appeal to the commuters use the steps descending on platform 1 and 2 and the bridge on the south side.

Further, the steps on the south side of the pedestrian bridge at the Andheri station will be closed for repair work, as well. This will be conducted on April 23, and 24, and hence the same will be closed.
