Ganesh Chaturthi updates: Konkan Railway to extend dates for 14 special trains

Every Ganesh Chaturthi, people travel to Konkan in large numbers and for their convenience, Konkan Railway, as well as Central Railway, run special trains. However, this year, Konkan Railway has gone one step further and have decided to extend the dates to accommodate more commuters.

Considering commuters’ response, Konkan Railway decided to extend the days where special trains will be run till September-end.

Special trains for Ganesh Chaturthi

• Train no. 01433 and 01434
  Panvel-Sawantwadi-Panvel
  Was scheduled till September 11 but will run till September 18
  
  
• Train no. 01435 and 01436
  Sawantwadi-Panvel-Sawantwadi
  Was scheduled till September 12 but will run till September 19
  
  
• Train no.01448
  Swantwadi Road to Panvel
  Was scheduled till September 15 but will run till September 22
  
  
• Train no. 01095 and 01096
  LTT-Sawantwadi-LTT
  Was scheduled for September 11 & 12 but now will run on September 18 & 19
  
  
• Train no. 01431, 01432 & 01447
  Pune-Sawantwadi-Pune
  Will run on September 17, 20 & 21
