The northern entrance of Magathane Metro Station at Borivali on the 'Dahisar-Gundavali Metro 7' route has finally been opened after two months.

In July, there was an incident of road collapse during the work of a private developer near Magathane metro station. As this road is near the northern entrance of the metro station, a part of the metro station was affected. Hence, the Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) closed the affected area in July. It included an entrance on the north side of the station.
