A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Therefore, there is a favorable environment for rain in Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department estimates that in the next four to five days, there will be heavy rain with thunderstorms in the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted that after the arrival of Ganpati Bappa, heavy rains will start in some districts of the state.


Heavy rain warning in Maharashtra

Although the meteorological department's forecast did not turn out to be accurate, light to moderate rain occurred in many districts. Therefore, Kharif season crops have got some relief. For the last two-three days, Mumbai, Konkan, Thane including Nashik, Jalgaon, Dhule, Ahmednagar and Pune districts have been receiving light rain. Apart from this, rain also occurred at different places in Ratnagiri, Satara, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Nagpur, Gadchiroli, Bhandara, Jalna, Nanded and Sindhudurg districts. Meanwhile, once again a warning has been given of heavy rain in the state in the next four to five days.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in all the districts of the state from September 21. Meteorologist KS Hoslikar tweeted about this. Hosalikar has said in his tweet that there will be rain and thundershowers in many districts of the state in the next four to five days.


Yellow alert for which districts?

Mumbai, Konkan, Pune, Thane, most districts of Western Maharashtra and Marathwada will receive heavy rain for the next four to five days from today. Rain warning has also been issued in Vidarbha including Buldhana, Washim, Akola, Amravati, Yavatmal, Wardha, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara districts.
