Amidst Jet Airways' downfall, SpiceJet will start 28 new flights daily from Mumbai to Delhi and direct flight to eight international destinations.

SpiceJet will operate 28 new daily flights from Mumbai to Delhi.  

SpiceJet tweeted, Starting 26th April 2019, Departure and Arrival operations of flight numbers between SG-6000 & SG-6999 will shift to Terminal 2 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai. We advise you to check your flight & terminal details before leaving for the Airport.

In addition to the sixteen 737s and five Bombardier Q400s, SpiceJet will be adding six more Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft on a dry lease.

SpiceJet is all set to seize the opportunity of Jet Airways' downfall by introducing direct flights to eight international destinations from Mumbai by the end of May. The eight international destinations include Hong Kong, Colombo, Riyadh, Bangkok, Dhaka, Kathmandu, Dubai and Jeddah.

Notably, SpiceJet’s international flight from Mumbai to Bangkok will commence from May 17 and its domestic flights which connect Kolkata, Chennai and Varanasi were effective from April 18.
