Every Mumbaikar travelling via local trains knows how important M-Indicator is. It's a one-stop solution for our daily commute which also keeps us informed with news about the local trains. M-Indicator has recently introduced its live tracking feature which was earlier in the beta phase.
Live tracking will enable a person to see the real-time location of the train that he has boarded and will further notify him about any train that has been delayed.

How Does It Work
You have to sign up on the application and give access to your location. Later you can select multiple prefered scheduled train, source and destination.
If you have already boarded the train, select the 'My Trains' tab and click 'yes' after the question 'are you inside this train?' prompts. The live tracking will end as soon as you have reached the destination.
This way, m-Indicator will receive live local train location that you share. M-Indicator says it will share your train location with lakhs of m-Indicator users using the app. Interestingly enough, the app doesn't allow users to share the train's live location before the time of its departure or after it has completed its journey.
