Kurla’s Nehru Nagar is still reeling in shock. As, in broad daylight, three women ransacked the house and fled away with ornaments. Victim Manda Nakashe welcomed three women, unaware they being of thieves. Posing as officials of rationing department, they got an entry into Manda’s house. As they entered her home, they beat up Manda and stole her Rs 1 lakh 65k worth ornaments along with her ornaments which she was wearing at the incident. At present, with the help of CCTV footage, police are now searching absconding women.
