Fort - Organising Ganpati pandals & conveying a social message has become the order of the festival. A Ganpati pandal set up at Fort is focussing on Global Warming. A video about the 'Effects of Global Warming' is being shown at the Ashtavinayak Pandal. There will be no breath of fresh air, if the flora & fauna is harmed."The Mandal has been crafting eco-friendly Ganesha idols for the past 5 years. The Ganesha idol stands at 19ft tall and is made up of bamboo", said Raviraj Shetty.
