Mumbai mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar announced the winners of the ‘Majhi Mumbai’ drawing competition which took place on 8 January, to mark the birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray.
Gloria Convent Girl’s school’s Purva Jagtap, Kenya and Anchor's Anushka Mulye and G N Purandare’s Hiranmayi Kolambe secured the first three positions.
This competition was held in all civic schools in which 58,146 students participated. This result was announced at a press conference chaired by the mayor.
Deputy mayor Hemangi Worlikar, standing committee chairman Ramesh Korgaonkar, education committee chairman Shubhda Gudekar and other officials were present.
