Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has tested positive for novel coronavirus and is currently under home quarantine, the actor's spokesperson said on Wednesday, March 24.

Since the actor bid goodbye to social media, his spokesperson confirmed the same and said, “Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern."

Aamir, who recently quit social media, turned 56 on March 14 this year. As soon as the news of the actor's COVID positive report came, various celebs and his fans took to Twitter and poured in get well soon wishes.
