The world is offering prayers to the Bollywood legend Sridevi who passed away recently in Dubai. The actress was there to attend a family wedding, along with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor. On Saturday night, the news broke out that the legend passed away due to a cardiac arrest, and was declared dead on reaching the hospital.
Over the last two days, the team at Dubai’s hospital has been performing postmortem and forensic tests, to find out the reason for the death, and it has now come to notice that Sridevi passed away due to accidental drowning which happened due to the cardiac arrest when she was in the bathtub. If the circulating reports are to be believed, traces of alcohol was also identified and reported in the test.
It is said that after the wedding, Sridevi chose to stay back in Dubai for shopping, and Boney along with his daughter returned to India. However, Boney went back to Dubai to surprise his beloved wife. The same evening, before the duo set off for dinner, Sridevi was found in an unfortunate state in the bath-tub, eventually leaving us away.
Her elder daughter Jahnvi Kapoor was in India at that time, and sources confirm that she canceled the shoot the same night to attend to the situation. Arrangement to bring Sridevi’s mortal remains is in the process and will be brought in a special aircraft. Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities, friends and family members have been offering their prayers and condolences at Anil Kapoor’s residence.
Some reports also mention that the actress lost her balance and fell in the tub, and drowned accidentally. No cardiac arrest has been mentioned in these reports.
