Popular 2005 film, Bunty aur Babli, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherji and Amitabh Bachchan was appreciated by the audience. The buzz about the sequeal of the popular film has been doing the rounds in the media, and after a long wait, Bollywood's leading production house, Yash Raj Film, announced the new leads of the film.
Bunty aur Babli 2 will star Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari in lead roles. The film will be directed by Varun Sharma.
The team from YRF took to Instagram to announce the same, with a message that read, "Meet the new Bunty aur Babli!"
Fans showed a mixed reaction to the new cast. While some are excited to watch this fresh pair on screen, many die-heart Rani Mukherji fans, want to see the 'Mardaani' lady again in the sequel.
Siddhant Chaturvedi was earlier seen as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar's film Gully Belly. His role alongside Ranveer Singh was appreciated by the fans and the critics. He is also a part of Amazon Prime Video's popular series Inside Edge. This will be the debut film for Siddhant's co-star Sharvari.
