Karan Johar and family under self-isolation for 14 days as two staff members test positive for COVID-19

On May 25, 2020, Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the message that two members of his household staff tested positive for coronavirus. Necessary actions have been taken and the BMC officials were informed.

In a recent announcement, Bollywood producer and director, Karan Johar, mentioned that two of his staff members have tested positive for coronavirus. Karan took to social media to share the same.

His post on Instagram read, "I'd like to inform you that 2 members of our household staff have tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately and the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per norms. The rest of us in the family are safe and display no symptoms. We have all taken the swab test this morning and have tested negative, but will remain in self-isolation for 14 days for the safety of everyone around us."

He further added that they will take necessary measures and will strictly adhere to them. Further, the entire team will be given the best treatment and care.

Earlier in May, popular production house T-Series was also sealed after some of the staff members were seed positive for COVID-19. According to reports, T-Series staff used to work and stay in the building and upon knowing the same, the team immediately took necessary action to contain the spread of the virus.

After Karan shared the news on Twitter, many of his fans and well-wishes did their part by asking him to take care. He also celebrated his birthday on May 25, 2020, with his kids and other members of the family.
