Mistake on Rs 2000 note: Emblem size reduced

Mumbai - The new currency notes of Rs 2000 has a printing mistake regarding national emblem. Earlier, there used to be 17mm long and 11 mm wide national emblem on Rs 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 denominations. The new Rs 2000 note has the emblem but in reduced size (15mm long and 10 mm wide). Besides this, emblem has been removed from water shed mark on this note. RPI (A) office-bearer Navin Lade has sent an email to prime minister Narendra Modi in this regard.
