Nina Verma had filed a petition in the High Court to ensure a dedicated committee is set up to overlook MMRC’s activities.
MMRC started chopping down trees before the committee even came into play and this infuriated nature lovers.

Now that a committee has been set up, the number of trees that are being cut will be monitored and no illegal activities will be carried on. .
