In order to boost the export of jewellery, a number of cities including Mumbai are all set to have their 'Jewellery Parks'. These parks will be heavily facilitated with high-tech machines which will ensure that jewellery is produced in large number to cater to the demands of jewellers, people and international market.

A similar park is currently in Navi Mumbai and was inaugurated by former Minister of Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu. The Jewellery park will soon open up in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. There will be over 2000 units which facilitate works like jewellery design to determining its purity through machines.
