On the other hand, every Sunday, Pandey holds a Facebook live. Therein he holds discussions about police-concerned problems with the locals. In addition to this, he also proclaims many initiatives.
Since assuming the post of the Mumbai Police Commissioner, he has brought into action several drives. One of which includes enforcing strict regulations for delivery companies by instructing them to train their delivery boys who are seen flouting traffic norms.
He had also proposed the "No Parking No Car" scheme, the proposal stated that new cars should not be registered until they have adequate parking slots. From issuing fresh SOPs for two-wheeler motorists to initiating a crackdown on anti-social elements, his latest scheme looks to deal with concerns of housing societies by making nodal officers of the police inspectors in charge of public relations.
