The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has now decided to open another digitised valet parking facility at Gypsy Corner restaurant near Sena Bhavan in Dadar.

This development came after receiving encouraging response at the city's first digitised valet parking facility near Dadar's Plaza Cinema. According to latest report, between May 18 and 22, 72 cars were dropped off at the Plaza Cinema booth operated by a start-up, Park+.

Valets steer cars from Plaza Cinema to Kohinoor Public Parking Lot (PPL) and keep it there until the motorist asks for pick-up.

BMC’s G North assistant municipal commissioner Kiran Dighavkar said that the civic body is figuring out if the scheme can be expanded to the Shivaji Park area as ample space is available at Kohinoor PPL.
