The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) will carry out urgent maintenance work on the Barvi Gravity Pipeline from Katai Naka to Mukund. Due to this, water supply in Kalwa, Mumbra, and Diva areas under the Thane Municipal Corporation will be completely shut down for 24 hours, starting from midnight on Thursday, February 6, to midnight on Friday, February 7.

After the repair work is completed, the water supply will resume but at low pressure for a few hours. The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has advised residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during this period.
