Malad- BMC propagates zero waste agenda but only on paper. Malad's Aayojan Nagar is dealing with garbage woes. Animals are seen loitering and creating a mess & foul smell has also spread across the area. Residents have complained that BMC does not clear lying garbage on time. However, in their defence, BMC claimed that they are doing their job effectively. " We daily clear out the garbage and we have also installed extra dustbins' said P ward's Solid Waste Management department.
