Ajinkya Rahane left out of the T20 squad to face Australia
Indian Cricketer Ajinkya Rahane has been excluded from the squad for the upcoming three-match T20 series against Australia.
Rahane is coming back from a successful ODI series against Australia as he scored four half-centuries but wasn’t selected for the T20 series by BCCI which honestly surprised many fans around the country. Rahane wasn’t too concerned about being dropped as he said he respects the selectors’ decision of not including him in the squad. He also added that he enjoys competition and that drives him on as a professional cricketer.
Yesterday, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Rahane was out in BKC to support the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.
The Mumbai-born batsman scored 5, 55, 70, 53, 61 in the ODI series but has stated that he’s going to work hard to convert the 50s into 100s.
The first T20 match starts on October 7 in Ranchi and India would be looking to continue the good form. As for Ajinkya Rahane, we hope to see him back in action soon.
