Indian skipper Virat Kohli took the fitness test on June 15, along with former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in order to determine the availability for the tour of United Kingdom, which will begin from June 27. The neck injury that Kohli had suffered during IPL resulted in the cancellation of his plan to get accustomed to the English conditions by playing county cricket.

The YoYo test, which has been made essential by the Indian team management before any tour, was held at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) ground, in the presence of Team India trainer Shankar Basu and support staff.
