When the MI batters came to the field, the game commenced with fireworks. Both openers, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came guns blazing. However, it was disappointing for the fans to see captain Sharma getting out for 48 in 36 balls. Kishan's wicket then came in quick succession, he too, got a 43 in 34 balls.

While MI's Ramandeep Singh played a phenomenal 14 from 6 it was not enough for the team. SRH won the game by 3 runs.
