In the fourth match of IPL this season, Mumbai Indians (MI) fails to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) today, April 9, at MCAPune.

For today’s match, MI Paltan made two changes, bringing in Unadkat in place of Tymal Mills and Ramandeep Singh replacing Daniel Sams, while RCB brought in Glenn Maxwell for Sherfane Rutherford.

After this win, RCB have won three of their four games in this season. Meanwhile, our home team is yet to win a game this season, who are five-time champions.

Despite losing quick wickets in the beginning of the match, Suryakumar Yadav's unbeaten half century lifted the team's tricky position to post a total of 151 for six against RCB. Yadav smashed an unbeaten 68.

Invited to bat, Rohit Sharma (26) and Ishan Kishan (26) added 50 runs off 38 balls but MI suffered a collapse, slipping to 79 for six.

"A lot of credit to Surya to get us to 150. We had gotten off to a 50-run partnership, but I got out at the wrong time. That hurt us a little bit," said MI Skipper Rohit Sharma.

However, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were in firm control of the proceedings despite losing the wicket of Anuj Rawat, who scored his maiden IPL fifty as he shared a 50-run partnership with Virat Kohli. Besides, in a major disappoint to Kohli's fan, the former captain gave away his wicket just two runs away from scoring a half century.
