In the heat of the moment, a man stabbed the accused in the middle of court proceedings at Bhoiwada Court because the accused were declared innocent.

Harichandra Shirkar has been arrested for the attack and the recipient have been gravely injured.

In 2009, Nandesh Kadwalkar and Mahesh Mhaprakar were arrested for assaulting Harichandra Shirkar. On Wednesday, the accused were present along with the victim (Harichandra) at Bhoiwada court awaiting the ruling.

The court ruled the case in favour of the accused and let the two go scot-free. In a split second, Harichandra lost is cool and attacked the two with a knife which he had in his possession. Both of them suffered head injuries and are being treated at KEM Hospital, Parel.

During the previous hearing, the accused had mocked Harichandra and told him they would go scot-free and hence, today’s decision triggered the incident.
